Kidrobot is an American Urban style Toy and Apparel Company, based mainly on the web but has a variety of stores worldwide. The company was founded in 2002 by designer Paul Budnitz. Kidrobot is notoriously known for their series of "Munnys" & "Dunnys", which are basically blank toys that you paint on yourself.
On first look the website looks very well presented and clean, using mainly buttons and a Flash object displaying new items that they have to offer. I like the fact that everything you could be looking for is right at the top of the page and is clearly displayed, making the website very easy to use. The neutral colour scheme works very well, and the highlights of colour around the page also compliment the design. The website has various features showcasing Events they are holding, Artists that have designed for them and also includes the Online Store. The Online Store has a Blog-ish style feel to it, and also uses the minimal colourscheme, again this is very easy to navigate. Also the checkout system is very simple and but does request logging into or signing up, which could discourage some users. All in all this is one of the best examples i've seen of a well designed and usable Website/Store.
